Steamy Saturday!

My sister texted me a question that I needed to ask my daughter.  When Michele didn't answer either of her phones I decided to get dressed and run some errands I had to do.  I took some yard sale stuff over to the house and the door was still locked so I assumed they were still in bed.

I went to Lynchburg and bought some new clothes and then to the Vitamin Shoppe to get some things.  Then while I was out I decided to go to workout so I went to Amherst to workout before the parade hit town.  Then I came home and did little or nothing for a few hours until Mary got here and we went to church to see the children's program.  It was a great job they did!  Our children's programs are always great!

Mike is grilling pork chops and we are just having left over sides to go with it!  I'm hungry.

One of the things I got at the Vitamin Shoppe was some Grapefruit Seed Extract Nasal Spray to help with my sinuses.  As of right now it hasn't done the best job, but I am willing to give it more of a chance to see if it will help, but I think we need to pull the carpet out and replace it with hardwood flooring to help me the most!  I'm going to check on hardwood this week and finally bite the bullet and put it in!

I've always thought carpet was more cozy, but I'd rather be pain free!  :)  Although, just an aside...I noticed that the grass pollen was really high yesterday and today...wonder if that's what I'm allergic too!  hmmmm, something to think about!  :)

I got a new photo program today and here is my hand at some different effects!  I think I'm in love!  LOL

First picture is Cody in therapy for his Little League elbow.

This is Haley at one of Cody's games and she wanted to see her blue tongue!  LOL

  2. Hi Karen! Wow - you are a busy bee! :-) I admire you for sticking to your guns & working out. It always makes us feel so good to do that, so I'm cheering you on.

Peppermint oil would do your sinuses good. You can spray it up in your nostrils though! So don't do that! :-) It's good for so much. There's also other natural things to try for your sinuses. I am so thankful that I've never dealt with allergies.

Love your photo effects! You will really have fun playing with this.

    Have a blessed day. Hugs!
